Out Cycling

This is a 6 panel gate fold flyer for the Out Cycling Fall Ride in New York City. I was tasked with not only creating an Autumn themed flyer, but creating a full map of displaying the path (from lower Manhattan to Coney Island), complete with landmarks, parks, train stops, etc along the way. Coney Island itself proved to be the more complex of the landmarks which includes the legendary Mermaid Parade and the Wonder Wheel.

Below is the evolution of a t-shirt design for Out Cycling. Started with the top left and evolving into the design on the bottom right. I actually loved the halftone "OC" logo behind the rider, but we eventually swapped out the rider altogether for a more victorious rider with the "O" sprocket maze in stage 4.
